My educational qualification targets basic and upper secondary art education, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches in accordance to the Finnish national curriculum. Special needs education, museum pedagogy and critical social studies (such as gender studies) are included in my pedagogical portfolio. The phenomena of play and it´s implementation into my work was the main subject of study in my masters thesis.
I am a team player, unafraid of bringing art into somewhat unusual environments. Collaboration and building bridges between different domains spark curiosity in me. Drama, dance and art overlap in many of my educational projects.

An example of a workshop from working as an art educator in a shelter for victims of domestic abuse. The participants and their children built a little cardboard city that they called Turvallisten kotien kaupunki, or Safetown.
Pole dance (Situational art video)
A pole dance event arranged at the elderly care unit of Kinapori. This is an example of interdisciplinary thinking where the aesthetic of pole dance is brought to an unusual setting. The result is a new understanding of artisic practise and perhaps a little bit of a workout.
